Heeding God’s Call is a new faith-based campaign to prevent gun violence. It unites people of faith in their sacred duty to protect their fellow men and women. It seeks to do so through:

• Helping local faith communities organize advocacy campaigns to pressure gun shops to adopt the Code of Conduct;
• Providing support and resources for partnerships of multi-racial, interfaith, cross-denominational, faith communities to form and get active in support of gun violence prevention (on both social and legislative levels);
• Serving as a ‘connection point’ for these congregations and partnerships to connect with, learn from and support the work of gun violence prevention organizations and efforts already in place; and
• Advocating for the adoption of faith community Resolutions to take action at congregational and judicatory levels.
